Dexter recently answered four questions for us.
Summer Ball--Who was your favorite baseball player when you were younger?
Dexter Bobo--My favorite players growing up where Andruw Jones and Randy Johnson. Now, I'd say Ichiro, Tim Hudson and Randy Johnson are my favorites.
SB--What were some of the best things about playing for the SwampBats this past summer?
DB--Getting to play with kids (well, I guess we are men now) from all over, and from all different schools. I'm from GA and have lived her my whole life, but the time spent playing there was new and really fun.
SB--Were you every close to signing with the Pirates this summer?
DB--I was at one point because our pitching coach left to coach at Tennessee and I really liked him. So, when he left, I almost did sign.
SB--What is your favorite movie?
DB--The whole "Major League" set was good. I really like funny movies and they were great.
