Three Grizzlies Will Play In The Northwoods League

As of right now, three University of Oakland Grizzlies will compete in the Northwoods League this summer.

Connor Mielock is a P/OF/INF for the Grizzlies. He played for the Carney Pirates of the Clark Griffith League last summer. He was named to the All-CGL Team. He went 4-2, with a 2.08 era in 47.2 innings pitched. He walked 11 batters and fanned 28 for the Pirates. He will be playing for the Brainerd Lakes Area Lunkers.

Kyle Teague is a right-handed pitcher. He played for the Lake Norman Copperheads of the SCBL last summer. He went 4-2, with a 2.50 era in 50.1 innings pitched. He walked 19 batters and fanned 52 last summer. He will join Conner in Brainerd next summer.

Matt LaMothe is another right-handed pitcher. He played for the Geneva Red Wings of the NYCBL last summer. He went 3-3, with a 3.77 era in 43 innings of work. he walked 27 and fanned 38 for the Red Wings. he will be playing for the Madison Mallards this coming summer.
